In the beginning of February a new shop opened up on Nakanoshima. Called Sekai Ichi Himana Ramenya, it means "The World's Most Idle Ramen Shop", and it's from the same people who brought us Juso's Kuso Oyaji Saigo no Hitofuri and Nishinakajima's Jinrui Mina Menrui. I walked over there...

...only to find it was closed. However, they would be doing a collaboration with Mondorian, recent successor to Kinguemon's Honmachi branch's location. Normally they offered various shoyu and tonkotsu bowls, but today just one was on sale: an event-only chicken tonkotsu bowl. Having walked around looking for something to eat all day, I strode in victoriously to claim my prize.

The Bowl
Rich, tonkotsu flavors with a giant piece of chashu. Well, I can see where the similarity to Jinrui Mina Menrui comes from. The broth was good, and came with a variety of toppings, including menma, onions, and parsley. The noodles were medium, straight, and firm. I wasn't blown away but it was a solid, rich bowl.

In the end they gave me a coupon to use another time. Bonus!
