Men Life Taku

It was my friend's birthday and he wanted to eat some great ramen. An excuse to take him to one of my all time favorites: Men Life Taku. I've been here before and had their normal ramen and tsukemen. It's fantastic, and should be eaten by all. But this time I decided to get one of their limited time only wacky bowls: chicken miso ramen with basil sauce.

友達の誕生日でラーメンを食べたがりました。そんなときにめっちゃ好きなラーメン屋さんに行きたくなります。麺Life拓を選びました。私は何回か行ってスタンダードのラーメンとつけ麺を食べたことあるので、今回ちょっと変わっているメニュー使用かなと思っていました。夜限定鶏味噌拉麺（バジルソース仕立て）にしました。

The Bowl
I was wondering what basil sauce was doing in a chicken miso ramen, but as soon as I started eating, it became clear. This was a strange ramen pasta hybrid. Not like some shops I've been to that offer tomato ramen, or others that have a thick and creamy sauce. No, this was of a different breed altogether. A murky miso broth combined with garlic covered in a dollop of basil paste. I can't say whether it was more Italian or Japanese, but I can say it was delicious.

なんで鶏味噌拉麺にバジルソースを掛けるかぜんぜん知らなかったですけど、食べるとすぐわかりました。ラーメンとパスタのハーフみたいでした。トマトラーメンを売っている店とかドロドロのパスタソースっぽいラーメンじゃなくて、別の物でした。濁っているスープでニンニクとバジルが混ぜてありました。日本の物かイタリアの物か知りませんけど、うまかったと知っています。

It's one of my favorites, so yes.
