Shinkabakushin

While looking online for ramen shops along the Yotsubashi line in Osaka, there was one shop I spotted a few times. There wasn't much information on it, but I saw its name enough times that I decided I'd stop there on a walk home some time. Shinkabakushin is a big shop on the second floor. They had a large menu, so as always I asked what they recommended, and was told to get the normal tonkotsu ramen.

The Bowl
Well, it lived up to the name, but was nothing special. It was a bowl of garlicky, tonkotsu ramen, with a slick layer of oil on the top. The noodles were chewy, and the chashu was thick, but neither of them made the bowl step past its mediocre level.

Would I Go Again?
Nah, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either.

Should You Go?
Nah.
