Menya Hakkaisan

A rare trip out to Takatsuki for some ramen, this time I visited famous dried fish ramen Hakkaisan. I went for the straightforward niboshi soba.

The Bowl
As promised, this was a top class niboshi bowl. It was rich and oily, but with just the right amount of salt. The noodles were short and thick, and the chashu was thick and juicy. In particular I liked the menma pieces that were tinged with yuzu flavor. The only problem with this place is how long the line can get, and how far it is.

Would I Go Again?

Should You Go?
