Ippinka

I had recently discovered a new Osaka food magazine, and much to my delight there were a number of suggestions of restaurants near my office. One of them was a hole-in-the-wall Chinese place with interesting-looking tantanmen, so my coworker and I checked it out during lunch.

The Bowl
The bowl was interesting, definitely different from any other tantanmen I've had before. The broth was thin, and oily. It wasn't spicy, but it tasted like miso and was even a little sour. The noodles were chewy, and the chashu wasn't bad either.

Would I Go Again?
It's close, so I might.

Should You Go?
Nah, it's too out of the way.
